Quite often materials are delivered late or short supplied from the purchase order for various reasons.

For one job at a time it can be easy to keep on top of these issues, however for larger volumes of homes under construction, unless late or short deliveries are recorded and complied into a report, you as the business owner will not be aware of these issues.

The 'Late and Short Report' is used in discussions with suppliers to investigate why deliveries are being late or short of items and the impact this has on construction progress and the performance of the supplier. It can also highlight issues to the suppliers that they are not aware of.
