Why use a Construction Commencement Letter?

Under most new home building contracts, it is a requirement to notify the client/s of the construction commencement date.

This is a very important letter and notice as it sets the clock running on the 'Contract Period' and will be used to determine if any Liquidated Damages are payable at the end of the contract. It is also used to help calculate any extensions of time by establishing the start date.

The letter can also be used to remind client/s of their obligations in relation to site visits and communication with the builder and staff.
